There’s something surreal about paddling the Gulf of Mexico while escorted by amazing ocean life such as Dolphin and big Sea Turtles. If you’re looking for a little competition you can take your board to Henderson Beach State Park on August 20th for the 10th Annual Paddle at the Park. Race your way through the Gulf for great prizes, then enjoy some of our favorite Destin vendors such as Destin Brewery, Lucky Beach Nutrition, Stanley Street Treats, and many more!
Looking for Destin’s social scene? Look no further than Crab Island. It’s a short boat ride away from your Destin Condo Rental. This sandbar is the perfect combination of sun, sand, emerald waters, and fun! Crab Island is the area’s top summertime destination where boats, kayaks, and wave runners come to anchor down and hang out. There are so many ways to get to Crab Island, however, we suggest Crusin Tikis. This floating Tiki Bar will cruise you to Crab Island while you enjoy cocktails and snacks that are provided by you. The captain will drop the swim ladder so you can take a dip in these emerald-green waters.
When the sun goes down outdoor concerts are where it’s at! One of our favorites is Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation Concerts in the Village. Every Thursday night at 7:00pm during the season you can enjoy live music under the stars. This is one of the most beautiful outdoor music venues on the Emerald Coast. Bring a bottle of wine, your favorite craft beer, delicious snacks, and a blanket or chair. Food and drinks are also available for purchase. Wine down after a day at the beach to tunes from talented musicians.
