Fall is one of our favorite times of year to visit Destin. Sunny blue skies with temperatures in the high 70s during the day and low 70s in the evening with a cool fall breeze. Yes, the weather is ideal in fall making it perfect for these five favorite outdoor festivals!
Destin Brewery’s Oktoberfest takes place on Saturday, September 24th from 2:00-7:00pm. Break out the lederhosen for a chance to win best dressed. Enjoy beer specials, giant pretzels, beer cheese, and brats as well as live music by Hunter & Tony. Great beer and great people make this quaint festival one of our favorites!
The 44th Annual Destin Seafood Festival kicks off its three-day event on Friday, Oct. 7th from 4:00-10:00pm. Showcasing the best that Destin has to offer with delicious seafood, live music, and family fun along the harbor. Get an early start on Saturday, Oct. 8th from 10:00am-10:00pm and Sunday, Oct. 9th from 10:00am-6:00pm. The festivities span over a mile along the beautiful harbor where you can enjoy Harbor restaurants, Destin’s Fishing Fleet, and breathtaking views!
The 8th Annual Eggs on the Beach returns to Seascape Towne Center. This Egg Fest cooking competition takes place on Saturday, October 15th from 10:00am-1:30pm. Cook teams will be cooking their favorite recipes on the Big Green Egg for you to enjoy unlimited samples and vote for your favorites. Chefs will be competing for cash and prizes all to benefit Fisher House of the Emerald Coast and Food for Thought.
Moon Crush: Harvest Moon returns to Seascape Resort on Friday, October 27th through Sunday, October 29th. This three-day music festival features all your favorites such as Eric Church, Turnpike Troubadours, and Throughout the Weekend. After a beautiful fall day at the beach spruce up at your Destin Condo Rental then head to Seascape’s outdoor venue for an incredible sunset and an evening of live music under the stars!
Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation presents Festival of Arts October 29th -30th. Spend the whole weekend at the Cultural Arts Village browsing through tents full of art from some of the areas most talented artists. Enjoy a beautiful fall day with art, music, food, and fun!
