Beautiful Beach Front Stay

This is by far the best place we have stayed in Destin so far. We had a view of the beach from our balcony and the walk to the beach was very short and easy. The condo was nice and the staff were friendly. We will definitely try to come back!

What a Beautiful condo. We enjoyed the view of the Emarald green gulf from the balcony and saw dolphins every morning! The condo was very clean with comfortable furnishings. The beach chair service was a great bonus.
This unit on the second floor was next to the stairs just steps from the beach.
It was only a short drive to restaurants and activities.
The Holiday Surf and Racquet Club was very well maintained and safe.
We would definitely stay at this complex and this condo again.

The property location is excellent. it is on Holiday isle in residential area on the beach yet only a short drive to restaurants, grocery and gas. Beach Service is excellent. Property is secure and quiet. Very enjoyable stay.

Great location on second floor. Convenient!! Friendly staff as always. This room really needs a sofa and update on furniture in living space!! The sofa is terrible. Everything else was great

Love Holiday Surf and Racquet; been coming here for over 20 years. Every condo has a few glitches and this is no different. Just a couple of things would improve this condo immensely. The couch is visible faded, stained in a few places and has horribly sunken cushions. Very uncomfortable. We had to sit in the upright chairs instead. The skillets are non-stick and are chipping, peeling which is unsafe to use. The kitchen utensils are somewhat lacking as well. We improvised to make eggs for breakfast. And the towels appear wonderful - big and fluffy, but when you use them they have a faint musky smell - time to replace or do some sort of treatment. These problems could be remedied fairly inexpensively. Maybe no one else has mentioned these issues and the owners aren't aware. Please know that I would return even with these issues. We do not expect perfection.

Loved the location of the complex & the unit itself. We have the view of the tennis courts (in good condition)& of the gulf. Kitchen has the necessary utensils one needs; adequate bath towels. Cons: bed was on the firm-side; felt like I was sleeping on the floor. Couch looked & felt worn out. Not a deal-breaker for us but considering this is a Racquet Club complex we expected Tennis Channel to be available, especially since BNP Paribas was on that week.

We booked spare of the moment, price was so good I was nervous as to what I had rented. However, upon arrival front desk clerk was very professional and polite. Our unit was the cleanest one I have ever stayed in while visiting Destin. The condo had easy beach access and chairs were free. We were so very pleased and will definitely be returning. Amazing stay!

This was our second time at this facility. Staff was very nice and helpful. Our room view was outstanding, however our room was not as nice as our previous stay. The room furnishings are outdated and seating is uncomfortable. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom needs special attention. Mold/mildew was visible in tub/shower. The toilet was continuously running, but maintenance took care of that. I attempted to fix myself, but when I took the top off the tank the underside of lid was totally covered in mold. Toilet had to be flushed twice on occasion. The mirror in the bathroom had toothpaste splashed on it. Balcony furniture has screws falling out of it and paint peeling and visibly worn. We looked at another 1 bedroom for future renting and it was obviously in much better shape. We will be back, but 203 won't be in our future.

Overall, this was a good place to stay. The room was a perfect size for my husband, myself, and my 11mo son. I wouldn’t recommend the room for 4 adults. The bed was very comfortable and slept well. The couch was uncomfortable but I cannot comment on the pull out bed. The hot water heater is very small so you cannot take showers back to back unless your showers are 5minutes long or less. The view from the room was great. It was far enough away from the pool that the noise from that was not annoying/overpowering. The walk to the beach was nice and short which is great when you’re carrying way too much stuff down to the beach. If we came back to Destin we would stay here again. Most of the staff was very friendly but I did have one encounter where the staff looked confused and annoyed that I was standing at the front desk waiting to ask a question. But again, this was only one instance.

Overall we had a great time. We were a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the unit we stayed in. With all the extra cleaning steps that were supposed to be happening due to COVID we felt the cleaning staff fell short of their goals.

The week we spent here in August was phenomenal! The staff were great to work with, the condo was spotless, and the view incredible. The beach set up that is included was awesome.The bed was super comfortable! We were able to truly relax and unwind for a week. We spent most of our time just enjoying the beach. Bun was we walked down to the park across from the harbor and watched the fireworks the last night we were there! We will definitely be back!

Better than we expected from pictures. We thought condo would be old and dated but since it was a last minute booking we kept our expectations realistic. We were surprised kitchen was updated and it looked like floors were recently done too. Unit location was very convenient because we didn't have to go in the main building to use the elevator.

Condo perfect for R&R. Very quiet! Tastefully decorated. Beautiful view of the Gulf! 2nd floor convenient to stairs.
Destin has everything for the beach goers. Holiday Surf has the best staff.
The only draw back is uncomfortable lounge chairs at the beach. However, I shouldn’t complain for two chairs and an umbrella comes with the rental of the condo!
Already planning my next vacation there! Love it!

This was the 1st time staying at Holiday Surf. I was extremely pleased overall, the unit was exactly to the pictures and description as on the website. The location was minutes away from shopping, restaurants, grocery needs. They only downside to this unit and some others that I noticed, were that the balcony was fully screened in as opposed to being open. Check in was fast and efficient, staying on the 2nd floor towards the end of the complex made it a breeze to get down the steps and out to the boardwalk to the beach. Booking through Holiday was also a plus since during certain months they supply a beach set up with chairs and umbrella. Prices were very affordable taking into consideration that we went on a holiday weekend

We have been staying here for about 30 yrs now and always have a wonderful experience. We will be rethinking our stay next year due to the new rules. I completely understand no smoking in the room, but no smoking on the beach under my umbrella???? If people are allowed to play their loud boom boxes and disturb me then I shouldn't have to get up out of my beach chair and walk to a smoking area. With the increase in rates, I am not paying to be on vacation and not be able to relax. it is the beach for goodness sake and yes that is a big deal!

Unfortunately, we picked the week that tropical storm cindy decided to show up. Since we were paid in full and it was less than 10 days out we found out about the storm we went anyway. The room was great and the staff was great. I'd just recommend you to get insurance due to the 10 day cancellation policy.
